Most decorating advice looks lovely and tells you nothing
It shows you a finished room and leaves out everything you needed to know to build it. No dimensions. No clearances. No honest word about what a thing is like once it is actually on your wall.
CozyHomeCanvas is the other kind of site. We write room-by-room guides that answer the practical question first — how high, how wide, how far apart, how much — and treat the styling as the easy part that comes afterwards.

How a CozyHomeCanvas guide gets written
The same four steps sit behind every article on the site, whether it is a sizing rule or a product comparison.
We start from the decision
Every guide begins with the thing you are actually trying to work out: what size, what height, what material, what it will cost to live with. Not with a product list.
We gather the numbers
Manufacturer specifications, standard dimensions, load ratings, materials and finishes. Where an industry standard exists for a measurement, we use it and say so.
We compare like for like
Products are lined up on the specifications that decide whether they work in your room, rather than on the features a brand happens to be promoting.
We say what we do not know
If we have not used something ourselves, we do not pretend otherwise. Owner reviews and reported failure points are described as exactly that.
What you can expect from us
Dimensions before styling
A room only works if things fit. Sizing, clearance and spacing come before colour palettes and mood boards.
No paid placements
Nobody can buy a position in a guide, a rating, or a kind word. We do not accept payment in exchange for a favourable review.
Corrections, openly
If we get something wrong or a product changes, we update the guide. Tell us and we will fix it.
Written for real budgets
Most homes are not renovations. Plenty of our guides are about making what you already own work harder.
The people behind the guides
Where the money comes from
CozyHomeCanvas is free to read and is funded by affiliate commissions and advertising. If you buy something through one of our links, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
That arrangement pays for the site, and it changes nothing about what we write. Retailers and brands have no say in which products appear, what order they appear in, or what we say about them. Nobody sees a guide before it is published. When we think the cheaper option is genuinely the better buy, we say so, even when the expensive one would pay more.
The full terms are set out in our Affiliate Disclaimer, and how we handle your data is covered in our Privacy Policy.
